Hi, I'm Nadia Theodore! For the past 20 years, my career has straddled the fields of international trade and public affairs.
I had the privilege to:
Lead communications strategies and multi-stakeholder engagement plans for priority initiatives.
Sit on leadership teams of global trade negotiations; and
Represent my country abroad as the Head of a Canadian diplomatic mission in the USA.
I LOVED THE WORK...
I loved the work, and loved what me being in the space visioned to young women aspiring to similar heights. I was one of the few people who looked like me at a senior level in my organization. The more visibility I gained, the more aware I became of the impact seeing me in spaces made for those on the come up. The overwhelming response has pushed me to speak up more: about my career journey, what
I think the future of leadership should look like and how everyone can shoot their shot at their dream career.

PHASE OF MY CAREER
My career to date has spanned 5 countries, involving high profile and high stakes, where success was the only option. The pillars of my success are my commitment to excellence with authenticity; clear, courageous communication; and compassionate leadership. In this next phase of my career, I want to make space to share some of that knowledge.
